Thank you for participating in our hunt! Below is some useful information for all hunters, brand new or seasoned veterans.
Please be patient!
Sometimes things take awhile to rez. Some shops are very simple, others not so much. So please let things rez completely. The first hunt gift will be an item you can wear that should help the item you are looking for rez faster.
Join the group!
The only way to get all official updates and shop lists is by joining the Historical Hunts, Ltd group. Please join the group and check the notices. When there is an active hunt there will be a Shop List that will be available that has all of the shops listed in order with LMs, slurls and any notes of importance.
Check the Shop List notecard!
The Shop List notecard, available in group notices, will have all up-to-date information about the hunt, including which shops are Not Ready Yet (NRY). You will be able to get the LM to the next shop from this notecard as well. There are also notes on some stops for the most commonly asked questions.
Hints are in world only!
Each shop is required to have a hunt poster and a hint item out near it. Hints will not be available on any website.
Do Not Share Prize Locations!
Do not, under any circumstances, give away the location of a hunt gift in public chat (nearby chat, local chat or any group chat). Do not post the locations on any website! You are allowed to give extra hints when asked.
Feel free to ask for help!
The Historical Hunts, Ltd. group is a fantastic place to ask for help with anything related to the hunt or any HHL event. You can ask for extra hints, explanations advice, etc. Again, please do not share specific locations, but extra hints are fine.

Not everyone is an old hat at hunting, and sometimes even veterans have a hard time, so please, be kind to each other. We are here to have fun!
Stop and smell the roses!
Don't worry about rushing through the hunt just for the prizes. Take your time and enjoy the worlds in which you find yourself. You never know what you might find!
Run into problems?
Please let Perryn Peterson and/or Wyvern Dryke know of any problems that arise either with hunt stops, HHL Events, the website or group chat. Please DO NOT contact shop owners directly. They are kind enough to participate, we don't want to overwhelm them with complaints.
