SILK ROAD HUNT
- Merchants apply at the link above, same as always.
- Soon after applications close, Hunt Organizer Perryn Peterson sends accepted merchants a notecard and poster.
- Close to Hunt opening date, we send merchants the Hunt Package (with Hunt Items which merchants hide at their shops).
SILK ROAD EVENT: called "Silk Road Crossings."
- Brand NEW procedure! Merchants apply for the Event using the link above.
- When applying, please pay attention to the "Requested Section" near bottom of form.
- Which Section to Request?
- There is a brand new Event Area we will use, with four sections: Yellow, Red, Blue, and Green.
- Merchants do not have to choose any Section and can click "No Preference."

- IMPORTANT: the actual Section assignment merchants receive depends on many factors, including how many people apply.
- IMPORTANT: a computer will randomly assign individual spots.
- YES merchants can "swap" or exchange spots! (Please notify organizers.)
- What if merchants miss the application deadline?
- Latecomers can choose from spots that are still available, after those who applied on time have claimed their spots.
- Why are you doing this?
- I, Wyvern Dryke, have seen an increasing need to improve the HHL Event merchant experience.
- I constructed new Event Area with all sections equal distance from arrival area, so there is reduced anxiety over getting "best" spots.
- With pre-registration, merchants can visit spots at convenient times. No more mad midday dash to register spots!
